Charity Update Statement

Happy Febrooary LVFC community,

For three years, we have proudly partnered with Las Vegas Trans Pride and its successor organization, the Gender Diverse Trans Pride Center (GDTPC). In total, we raised $31,793 over our three years of partnership to advance the cause of trans rights in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, GDTPC has informed us that they shall soon end operations, and that we should find a new partner charity for LVFC 2026. They have agreed to donate the remaining funds raised from LVFC to our new charity partners.

We remain committed to advancing trans and broader LGBTQ+ rights in the Valley, and so have partnered with a new charity many of you may recognize: the LGBTQ+ Center of Las Vegas.

the LGBTQ+ center of Las Vegas

The Center, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides a variety of social and healthcare services for the queer community of Las Vegas of all ages and identities. As part of our partnership, the Center will also donate a portion of the money raised to Sin Sity Sisters, a 501(c)(3) which focuses on HIV/AIDS and drug assistance and education of safe sex practices.

Anyone who donated to GDTPC as part of their 2026 registration has been contacted to ask if they wish to receive a refund or transfer it to our donation pool for The Center.

Wishing you all a happy Macro March,

-Tani Xocoyotl, LVFC Chair
