Good evening LVFC Attendees,
I personally read your feedback year to year, and understand that our early registration for hotel access, our bundled vouchers, and our early hotel blocks can all cause some anxiety and frustration for planning, often being 9 months or more before showtime. Unfortunately, our wiggle room on these policies is restricted by the economic realities we face to secure hotel rooms and event space.
However, I do believe we should still try to reduce the anxiety of such expenses in a time where many attendees face increased costs and financial uncertainty. The current policies remain in place:
- No questions asked refunds on registration, provided the badge has not been picked up and it is less than 30 days since the last LVFC.
- Unclaimed registrations will rollover to the next event indefinitely.
It is my pleasure to report that the Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events Board has passed the CARPEDIEM* Resolution to add the following policies:
- Unused vouchers (e.g. bundled registration) vouchers shall rollover until used. If a voucher expires, attendees may reach out to [email protected] have it reinstated.
- Hotel deposits retained due to late cancellation shall convert to credit on the attendee’s account. This can be used to pay for future registration, hotel deposits, or even Con Store items; attendees should reach out to [email protected] to inquire about and apply credit.
I appreciate the support we have received from all of you over 4 years of evolution, and I am hoping myself and my team can bring an even greater Year 5 to you all on March 25th–28th, 2027!
