The Serene is our other primary hotel, being adjacent to Alexis Park (it’s about a 3 minute walk from entrance to entrance). Its 142 rooms are laid out around a central 30,000 square foot courtyard with pool. Most of Serene’s rooms are closer to the Alexis Park convention center than some Alexis Park’s rooms due to Alexis Park’s horizontal layout.
Serene’s rooms feature:

- Lunch buffet with hot dogs, burgers, fries, etc.
Access Control: LVFC is looking into restricting its properties to registered attendees only. Please be prepared to show proof of registration or Serene room booking to enter the Serene.

Other Hotel Information
Accessibility: To reserve an ADA room, contact [email protected] (CC [email protected]) requesting an ADA room. You do not need to disclose any particular disability. Once received, we will enable your ConCat account to book ADA rooms. If you do not receive a response within 7 days, contact [email protected]. Please note you must still be eligible to reserve a room (i.e. be registered) in order to book.
The Serene has an elevator in the lobby for all second floor rooms.
Identification: The Serene requires the name on the room photo ID match the reservation. LVFC is a 21+ convention, and guests must be 21 with a government ID to check in. If you have changed your legal name recently, please bring copies of the name change paperwork.
Check-In/Check-Out Policies. When you check in to the hotel, you will be charged a flat security deposit of $200; any nights outside the buyout will incur an additional $200 refundable incidental. The incidental deposit will be refunded after checkout if the room is not damaged; the incidental can also be used to cover room charges such as room service and the Cafe. We recommend using a credit card to pay the incidental deposit as debit cards can take longer to release after checkout. Check-in time is 4 PM, but the hotel allows early checkin (based on availability) for a fee of $35. 12 PM checkout is complementary; every hour after that is $35/hour.
Parking: Free for all guests/attendees. We recommend not leaving the lot starting Friday as you may not be able to find a spot upon returning.
Fursuit Policies: Fursuits are welcome Wednesday at 4 PM to Monday at 12 PM. Outside these hours, hotel staff may ask you to remove your fursuit head.
Parties
Parties are allowed Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (our “buyout dates”). The Serene has a No Party Policy on all other dates. “Parties” are defined as gatherings of more than 4 people in a room. If hotel security finds a room in violation of this policy, they can evict without warning.
The Serene has Quiet Hours of 10 PM in its courtyard, but parties may continue until 12 AM. Doors and windows must be closed after this time; turn off subwoofers or anything amplifying sound. If your music can be heard behind the Serene, it is too loud. Parties should begin to quiet down after 12 AM.
