Hotel booking at LVFC’s buyout hotels is only open to registered attendees. To book a hotel room in the LVFC block, you will need to register first.
Hotel booking opens earlier at LVFC than at many other conventions. Be aware of the timelines for both booking and for registration for the greatest chance of success at your preferred hotel room.
Current status: Booking open to registered attendees at Embassy and Tuscany.
Alexis Park & Serene raffle entries not yet open.
Booking at Alexis Park & Serene
Booking at Alexis Park and Serene prior to July 10 will happen through a raffle process. After July 10 at 6 PM Pacific, booking is first-come first-serve.
Note that the main bottleneck to getting a room during the initial booking period is registration. LVFC has a registration cap at this time, and only people registered during the capped period are eligible to enter the raffle. Pay close attention to the registration opening times if you wish to enter the raffle.
June 7
Raffle entries may be submitted for Alexis Park and Serene. You must be registered.
Super Sponsors also obtain their rooms through the raffle, but have a dedicated block; see raffle page for details.
June 14
AP & Serene raffle winners selected.
Winners will have until July 10th to pay first installment (more about installments)
July 10
6 PM Pacific
All remaining hotel rooms available for booking first-come first-serve.
If attempting to book first-come first-serve close to opening time, you should determine your preferred room types ahead of time; see information on each hotel on the Hotels page. Alexis Park alone has more than 13 distinct room types!
Regardless of when you book…
All AP & Serene bookings cover the con dates of March 25–28. It is not possible to book only a portion of these dates, but you may check in later or check out early if you wish (while still paying the price for all nights). If you wish to stay before or after these dates, you can book an extension (details TBD).
Please note that bookings during con dates must occur through LVFC. If you attempt to book direct with Alexis Park or Serene, your reservation will be canceled.
Booking at Embassy Suites
Booking at Embassy Suites is first-come first-serve. Booking at Embassy is open now to all registered attendees.
All Embassy bookings cover the con dates of March 25–28. It is not possible to book only a portion of these dates, but you may check in later or check out early if you wish (while still paying the price for all nights). If you wish to stay before or after these dates, you can book an extension.
Please note that bookings during con dates must occur through LVFC. If you attempt to book direct with Embassy, your reservation will be canceled.
Booking Limits: Embassy Rooms are exempt from the one room limits imposed at other LVFC properties.
Extensions at Embassy: To extend your room, book the buyout nights first. Then visit the Embassy’s website to book shoulder nights as a separate reservation. The Embassy will NOT have your information at this time (as we have not turned over the room list), so you should treat it as a brand new reservation you will combine at checkin.
Switching hotels later: If you initially book Embassy and later win an Alexis Park or Serene room in the hotel raffle, or there is availability during the first-come first-serve period, you can transfer your installment payments over from an Embassy room to an Alexis Park or Serene room.
Booking at Tuscany Suites
Booking at Tuscany Suites is first-come first-serve. Tuscany Suites is not a buy-out hotel (there may be non-attendees staying). Tuscany booking is open now.
Other Ways to Get a Hotel Room
If you are unable to get a room through the room raffle or first-come first-serve booking, there are still some options:
- Party application: If you plan to host a party, you can get a room through a party block application. Applications are not yet available; stay tuned for more info on requirements and application process.
- Staff block: By volunteering, you may be able to book in the staff block. See volunteer page for details.
Installments
For many conventions, you may be used to paying a deposit ahead of time, and then paying the remainder of your balance at checkout. This is not how LVFC’s buyout hotels operate. All LVFC buyout hotel rooms are prepaid. To avoid needing to pay all at once, we do allow you to split up the room rate across 3 payments.
Installment 1 is the largest installment, a little over half of the room price, and is due at booking.
Installment 2 is due January 8, 2027. You must remember to pay this yourself. We recommend setting a reminder on your phone. We also try to send out reminders by e-mail, but this is best-effort only.
Installment 3 is due February 8, 2027. Similar cautions/reminders apply as for installment 2. For Alexis Park and Serene, installment 3 includes the price of two bundled registrations.
If booking past January 8, 2027, installments 1 and 2 must be paid together. If booking past February 8, 2027, the full price of the room must be paid all at once (installments 1, 2, and 3 together).
Refunds
This section applies only to buyout hotels. For Tuscany, which is not a buyout hotel, please see information on its dedicated page.
Hotel rooms are fully refundable to the original form of payment until the end of February 1, 2027.
After February 1, 2027, a portion of your payment becomes non-refundable, but can be retained as a credit on your account for use in future years. See full block policy for details.
Bundled Registrations
Bookings at AP & Serene include the price of two bundled registrations in the installment 3 price. These will be delivered as vouchers shortly before the con, after reservation information has been provided to the hotel. Vouchers are intended for use by roommates, but may be given to anyone else to be used as a registration credit, used on yourself (either to upgrade your registration level, or to re-register after requesting a refund), or rolled over for use at a future LVFC.
Staff and dealer rooms do not include bundled registrations.
Additional Terms
All bookings are subject to the more detailed Hotel Block Policies. Some important highlights:
- You may only have one room across Alexis Park and Serene. If you attempt to book multiple rooms, one will be canceled.
- Different hotels have different policies on parties. Please read the Party Policies page for more information.
