The Serene is our other primary hotel, being adjacent to Alexis Park (it’s about a 3 minute walk from entrance to entrance). Its 142 rooms are laid out around a central 30,000 square foot courtyard with pool. Most of Serene’s rooms are closer to the Alexis Park convention center than some Alexis Park’s rooms due to Alexis Park’s horizontal layout.

Serene’s rooms feature free Wi-Fi and breakfast for two at the hotel’s restaurant in the lobby.

Access Control: LVFC is looking into restricting its properties to registered attendees only. Please be prepared to show proof of registration or Serene room booking to enter the Serene.

Booking Terms

The Alexis Park’s rooms are reserved through the event’s ConCat instance until March 1st, 2026. Do not call nor email the hotel about rooms on our dates, as by contract the event is managing them.

In order to book a room, you must be registered. Registration opens to everyone on July 30th, 2025.

There is a strict limit of one (1) room per person in our block across all hotels.

Rooms have a four night minimum of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. You may leave early, but will not receive a refund for unused nights.

Anyone booking at Alexis Park agrees to pay room deposits based on the following schedule:

  • Installment 1 (due at booking): 2 Nights’ Room, Tax and Fees
  • Installment 2 (due January 15th): 1 Nights’ Room, Tax and Fees
  • Installment 3 (due February 15th): 1 Nights’ Room, Tax and Fees

Unpaid deposits are subject to cancellation and refund.

Surcharges: Installment 3 has a one-time surcharge of $99 or $198 depending on if the room has 1 bed or 2 beds, respectively. This is to cover additional registrations (1 for 1 bed rooms, 2 for 2 bed rooms) to help fill rooms to capacity. Vouchers for the additional registrations will be emailed closer to the event; you should discuss with roommates who should wait to register. If you cancel your room, any associated vouchers/badges will be revoked.

All installments have a 1% ConCat platform fee and 3% payment processing fee.

Refundability: Rooms are fully refundable until 60 days out (February 1st); after this date, half of Installment 1 (one night) will be forfeited if cancelled. If cancelled after March 12th, all of Installment 1 (two nights) is forfeited.

Reservation Extensions: To book nights before or after the convention, book directly at Serene’s website. Do not contact the hotel about LVFC-managed reservations; they will not understand as they do not have our booking information until March. Treat your extension as a brand new reservation you combine at check in.

Nightly Rates

  • Single King: $180 ($158.76 plus occupancy tax of $21.24).
  • King with View: $200 ($181.40 plus occupancy tax of $23.60)
  • King Suite: $200 ($181.40 plus occupancy tax of $23.60). Comes with a sofa bed.
  • King Suite with View: $215 (189.04 plus occupancy tax of $25.96). Comes with a sofa bed.
  • 2 Queens: $200 ($176.40 plus occupancy tax of $23.60).
  • 2 Queens with View: $210 ($185.22 plus occupancy tax of $24.78)
  • 2 Queen Suite: $220 ($194.04 plus occupancy tax of $25.96)
  • 2 Queen Suite with View: $225 ($198.45 plus occupancy tax of $26.55)

Rate Notes

All rates are for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (“buyout nights”).

Rates do not include 13.38% occupancy tax. Resort fee is waived for the buyout nights.

Rates do not include 1% ConCat platform fee and 3% processing fee that will be added to all room+tax subtotals.

Rates do not include the one-time bundled registration surcharge of $99 for one bed rooms and $198 for two bed rooms.

Other Hotel Information

Accessibility: To reserve an ADA room, contact [email protected] (CC [email protected]) requesting an ADA room. You do not need to disclose any particular disability. Once received, we will enable your ConCat account to book ADA rooms. If you do not receive a response within 7 days, contact [email protected]. Please note you must still be eligible to reserve a room (i.e. be registered) in order to book.

The Serene has an elevator in the lobby for all second floor rooms.

Identification: The Serene requires the name on the room photo ID match the reservation. LVFC is a 21+ convention, and guests must be 21 with a government ID to check in. If you have changed your legal name recently, please bring copies of the name change paperwork.

Check-In/Check-Out Policies. When you check in to the hotel, you will be charged a flat security deposit of $200; any nights outside the buyout will incur an additional $200 refundable incidental. The incidental deposit will be refunded after checkout if the room is not damaged; the incidental can also be used to cover room charges such as room service and the Cafe. We recommend using a credit card to pay the incidental deposit as debit cards can take longer to release after checkout. Check-in time is 4 PM, but the hotel allows early checkin (based on availability) for a fee of $35. 12 PM checkout is complementary; every hour after that is $35/hour.

Parking: Free for all guests/attendees. We recommend not leaving the lot starting Friday as you may not be able to find a spot upon returning.

Fursuit Policies: Fursuits are welcome Wednesday at 4 PM to Monday at 12 PM. Outside these hours, hotel staff may ask you to remove your fursuit head.

Parties

Parties are allowed Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (our “buyout dates”). The Serene has a No Party Policy on all other dates. “Parties” are defined as gatherings of more than 4 people in a room. If hotel security finds a room in violation of this policy, they can evict without warning.

The Serene has Quiet Hours of 10 PM in its courtyard. Doors and windows must be closed after this time; turn off subwoofers or anything amplifying sound. If your music can be heard behind the Serene, it is too loud.
